Antonio Broccoli Porto resides in Old san Juan,Puerto Rico. He graduated with a B.A. in Arts and Romance Languages from Iona College, New Rochelle. In New York he studied under watercolorist Anne Therese Dillen. He continued his art studies at the Accademia di Belle Arte, Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan, Italy and furthered his studies in Puerto Rico at Escuela de Artes Plasticas, under the guidance of Prof. Eric Lluch(apprentice to Andy Worhol) and Master Sculptor, José Garcia Campos. Other Studies include La Liga de Estudiantes de Arte in Old San Juan. Studio Porto, Antonio's workspace, is also located in Old San Juan. Mr Broccoli Porto is an active member of Asociación de Acuarelistas de Puerto Rico (Association of Watercolorists of Puerto Rico) and PAAP UNESCO Artists of Puerto Rico.

His works can be found in various public collections, including, Puerto Rico Tourism Bureau, San Juan, P.R., Museo del Niño, Old San Juan, San Francisco Church, Old San Juan, R-G Financial Headquarters in Hato Rey, PR. The Carnegie Library, Old San Juan, PR, El Museo de Nuestra Raiz Africana, Old San Juan, PR., La Fortaleza (The Governor's Palace) SJ,PR and Searle Pharmacueticals,Caguas, PR.

Among private collections: Puerto Rican Singer, Ruth Fernandez, Actress and Singer Jennifer Lopez, Italian Singer Laura Pausini ,former First Lady of PR, Maga Roselló and Sila Maria Calderón,Present Governor of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Broccoli Porto was comissioned for the Caribbean Version set and costume design for Midsummer's Night Dream by William Shakespeare, presented in Spanish at Bellas Artes de Guaynabo, in June of 99.

Mr Broccoli Porto's style has been described by the critics as lush in his use of colors and shapes, his works possesing a feeling of decadence...nature in all its beauty gone wild and uncontrolled.(San Juan Star)

In February, 2000, Antonio's work was featured at Gallery BAI, a private Gallery in The Guggenheim Museum Soho. His Sculpture and Paintings were also exhibited Inauguration of Casa del Presidente (UNITEC) for El Museo de Aguadilla y el Caribe Exhibition Winners of Dia del Artista Pintor Puertorriqeño , in May, 2000. An UNESCO medal was awarded to Antonio for his work &"34;Campesino de Corozal&"34; for El Dia Nacional del Artista Pintor Puertorriqueño (National Puerto Rican Artist Day) on the 12Dec., 2000.
