Lynne
Taetzsch
New York artist Lynne Taetzsch's contemporary abstract paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States and abroad, including the Hartley Gallery in Winter Park, Florida; the Alexandria Museum of Art in Alexandria, Louisiana, the Paul Insel Gallery in New York City; and the Cosmpolitan Art Association in Seoul, So. Korea. Taetzsch (pronounced as one syllable to rhyme with H) was born in East Orange, New Jersey. She studied fine art at Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, the University of Southern California, and the University of California in Los Angeles. A critic recently described her as "a painter very much in the tradition of the best of 20th century abstraction."
