Alejandro Silveira was born in Montevideo-Uruguay in the year 1951, he is
dedicated to teaching and investigate visual arts.
Engraver par excellence, his career begins at an early age investigating all
sorts of techniques till 1995, where he begins to accomplish Digital Art
through Photoshop as his inseparable tool.
His work covers from Abstraction to Figurative Neo- Expressionism ,
digitalizing in this manner his experiences combined with his imagination
and so penetrating into a timeless world where the conjuntion of shapes,
lights and shadows, colours and rythms create a new form of engraving.
He also works as freelance illustrator.
