Philip
ALSICAN
&"34;The new works of Alsican were created in a mood of full emotional freedom. The main reason for his creativity remains the joy of painting itself. In the result of a spontaneous movement his creative urge is seeking the poetic perception of the informal. To express this intense inner observation he needs a vast surface of freedom. Often the same canvas is painted over again, in a chaotic start. The spectator can then discover former constructions through the layers. His most important themes are freedom, emotion, joy, chaos and randomness and they never obstruct him from finding harmony, contrast and colour.&"34;
