La Ola Series are related to the movement of water as an allegorical element to the exploration of the subconsciousness. The clash and wave like pattern of heavy Tusche washes are englobed by subtle transversal delineations suggesting the inner core of cerebral structure. The modulation of light and color are interpreted as nuances of mood and thought process. Study XV is a defenite portrayal of “grey matter”.
This series were basically built with heavy liquid Tusche washes and all hard edge delineations were drawn Adobe Illustrator 9.0 which were applied onto Photoshop 6.0.
