Manuel LUIS-ESCUTIA vit et travaille au Mexique.Architect et artiste peintre il s’ installe en Suede et en Espagne pour plusieurs annès,et a sejournè dans la region de la Charente-Maritime (17) en France.
Il y a exposè dans des galeries,musèes et salon au Mexique,au Ètats Unies et en Europe.
Sa dernière exposition qu` il a crèe,ètait une installation a Valencia,Espagne(2006) elle ètait consacrèe a l’emigration espagnole au Mexique. Le parents de Manolo on quitte
l’ Espagne depuis la Guerra Civil.
Le gout pour l’ art pop avec un clin d`oeil d’ ironie,pour rechercher un equilibrie entre deux instances energetiques , la coleur et les motifs très chère de la tradition et la culture populaire mexicaine.

An architect and visual artist, Manuel LUIS ESCUTIA lives and works in Mexico. He resided in Sweden and Spain for a few years. He has also been a frequent visitor of the La Charente-Maritime region (17) in France.
As an artist, he has exposed his work in galleries, museums and collectives, both in Mexico, the U.S.A. and Europe. His latest exhibition was an installation in Valencia, Spain (2006), devoted to the Spanish immigration, inspired by the journey of his parents, who emigrated to Mexico at the end of the Spanish Civil War.
As a Pop Art visual artist, Manolo’s work, while being amusing and ironic, also seek to balance the instances of color and the most important motifs of the popular culture.
