My drawings capture the mystique of Egypt that I have had a interest in since childhood and inspired by visiting detailed murals found in ancient tombs and passageways in Egypt in 1999. When I got back from my trips to Egypt I had the urge to create these images. The eyes of the Ancients, King Tut, Queen Nefertiti, Cleopatria, Isis and Horus are featured in my art. My drawings are with Ink Paint and take over 300 hours to complete. It was a book about pyramids that my grandfather showed me which first piqued my intrest in the land of the Nile River. I was four years old and I was fascinated by what I saw. My grandfather traveled to Egypt frequently he was an interior designer and so am I. I grew up in Nurnberg, Germany.
