Obdulio Calderon studied art at the University of P.R. and the San Juan Art league. He has participated in numerous collective and individual art exhibitions all over the island of P.R. His woek is found in private and institutional collections, and has been recognized with several juried art awards. He is an active member of the P.R. Watercolor Association and the East End Art Guild.
